Gunner River Records was created out of a love for music and a desire to promote & present the best artists to a wider audience. President & Founder Rich Hunter has worked with the Ottawa International Jazz Festival, imagineNative Film & Media Arts Festival, 106.5 FM Toronto, iNative Music Festival & Jukasa Studios. Over the past 25 years we worked with many Indigenous & mainstream artists across Canada. Gunner River Records is a new multi-faceted record label that supports live concert promotion, artist bookings/artist procurement/development, music festivals & corporate events, podcasting, cultural presentations, grants/fund development, sound & Lighting w/stage management, digital media & marketing, video production & studio recordings.

Gunner River Records is a new label and music company that will begin garnering emerging & established Indigenous/non-Indigenous talent representing a diverse and talented roster of artists. Gunner River Records begins with coordinating National Indigenous Peoples Day 2024 at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre, CREEFEST 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027 & Gathering of Our People - GOOP 2024
